Q. How do I register with MarryBayKerala ?

  • Registration is an easy process which takes only few minutes. Fill out all the required information in the forms and complete your registration.

Q. Can I choose my own Profile ID?

  • No. You cannot choose your Matrimony ID. Only system will generate a Matrimony ID for each profile.

Q. Can I protect my photos ?

  • Yes. You will be able to protect your photos. Go to Photos Tab and click the protect button

Q. Can I grant my contact details to all ?

  • Yes. You will be able to give permission to view contact details by all.

Q. What should I do, If I forgot my password ?

  • Just click the Forgot Password which will sent a mail to your email id already provided with Profile.

    You will be able to reset the password by clicking the link given in the mail.

Q. What should I do, If I forgot my profileID ?

  • Just click the Forgot ProfileID which will sent a mail with profileID associated with email id.

Q.Why is the message Invalid Matrimony ID/E-mail ID or Incorrect Password being displayed when I try to login?

  • You could have received these messages due to any of the below reasons. Please ensure you enter the correct login details.

    The Password you have entered might be wrong or you might be having the CAPS LOCK "On". Please check whether the Password is entered in the correct case (Upper or Lower).

    Please ensure that there are no spaces in the Matrimony ID typed. For e.g., it should be A123456 not A 1234 56.

    The E-mail ID you are using to login must be the same one with which you had registered on the website

Profile Updates

Q. What all information from my profile will be displayed to other members?

  • Free members can view only some of your details. They cannot view your mobile number, horoscope, etc. Paid members can view all your details.

Q. How do I view protected photos?

  • If a photo prompts for a password to be viewed when you try to view it, it means that this member has protected his/her photo for privacy reasons. To view a protected photo, you need a photo password. Contact the member and get the photo password to view the photo.

Q.How to hide mobile number?

  • Login to your account. In the My Home page, click on Edit Profile section. Under Edit Contact Details, click on edit mobile number link. In the mobile verification page, click on Hide Mobile Number link to hide your mobile number.

Q.Can I edit my profile after it has been created?

  • Yes. Go to My Account and click on the Edit Your Profile link. Note that to avoid misuse of our services certain critical information such as name, age, gender, marital status, religion, etc cannot be changed by you. If you need to, please contact us explaining your reason for change.

Q.I'm a non-member. Can I contact a member?

  • As a non-member you can only search for profiles of members registered on our portal. But to contact them you have to become a member.

Q.How do I search for matches?

  • 'Click on 'Search' and select regular or advanced search. Regular search has only basic important criteria to be set where as advanced search will have more criteria to choose, making your search results appropriate.

    Apart from these, the system selects matches especially for you based on your partner preference and profile details and gives the list of matches in 'Latest matches', 'yet to be viewed', 'member who might like you', 'mutual matches' etc.

Q.How will I search for a particular member here?

  • If you know a member's Matrimony ID, then you can type that in the 'My Matrimony' page search column and find that member's profile.

Q.How do I block profiles?

  • Login using your 'Matrimony/e-mail ID' and 'Password.'Select "Search" option, enter the ID of the member in 'By Member Matrimony ID' option.

    You will find options to block profiles.The profiles will be added to your 'Block List'.

    This means these members will not be able to contact you or express interest in you, likewise even you cannot contact them.

    This feature is available to Paid Members only.

Q.How do I view/edit Blocked profiles?

  • Only paid members can use the Block Profile feature.To view the profiles you have blocked, login to your account, in the My Home page, under Lists, click on the members I have blocked link.To remove profiles from your block list, select the profile and click on the Unblock link.

Q.Can I search profiles of the same gender?

  • No, you are allowed to search profiles of opposite gender only.

Express Interest

Q.What is Express Interest?

  • 'Express Interest' is an exclusive feature that enables you to send automated messages to members absolutely FREE and let them know that you are interested in them.

Q.How will I know if a member has accepted/declined my interest?

  • You will be notified via e-mail when a member accepts/declines your interest. You can also login to your account and select the 'Interests Sent' option under Express Interest to know how many members have accepted/declined your interest.

Q.Is it possible to accept a declined interest?

  • Yes, it is possible to accept a declined interest.

Q.Can I "Decline" a member's interest which I have already accepted?

  • Yes, you can "Decline" a member's interest, which you have earlier accepted.

Q.How do one pay for his membership?

  • 'Marrybaykerala accepts all the credit cards and you can also pay through Paypal.

Q.What are the registration charges?

  • Members could choose one month package, two month package, three month package or six month package according to their requirement. Registration charges are written on front of packages.

Q.What is the assurance that my credit card information is secure?

  • Credit card information is fully secured on Marrybaykerala. We use secure software for this purpose. In addition the details are not recorded by the site.

Q.Can I register my Matrimonial Profile Free on MarryBayKerala.com?

  • Yes, Registering your Matrimonial Profile is Free on marrybaykerala.com. Doing so, you will become a Free Member which will enable you to receive response from other members; and also, you can express Interest in suitable members.
